The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions manages the unemployment insurance (UI) program. Eligibility requirements, filing instructions, FAQs and more are available on the website. The portal for applications, certifications, etc. is called New Mexico Workforce Connection.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there is assistance available to those who are not traditionally eligible for unemployment benefits. Be sure to read the Information and FAQs on the different types of benefits available and additional resources for workers affected by the COVID-19 economy, including the federal Lost Wages Assistance program.
