Project Outcome

Project Outcome is a free online toolkit designed to help public libraries understand and share the impact of essential library programs and services by providing simple surveys and an easy-to-use process for measuring and analyzing outcomes.

Project Outcome is managed by ALA's PLA with funding supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation among many other organizations and includes:

  • Patron surveys.
  • Survey Portal to collect their outcomes.
  • Ready-made reports.
  • Visually interactive Data Dashboards for analyzing the data.
  • Resources for taking surveys to taking actions using the results.

Formerly known as "Gail's Toolkit," the DigitalLearn website is now your “one-stop shop” for computer and technology training. Whether you help learners find and use online training, provide individual instruction, or need to teach a class, our growing collection of topics and tools are here to help you.

There are 30+ courses to choose from.  Courses include:
