The New Mexico State Library is pleased to offer a new eBook resource for New Mexico residents -- New Mexico Reads. The new resource is hosted on the Axis360 platform. New Mexico Reads includes many of the authors and books mentioned in this guide. It is also includes Southwest History and Culture. A small number of audiobooks are also included.
Access is limited to registered cardholders of the New Mexico State Library and New Mexico residents. If you are a resident, please contact us at reference@state.nm.us and we will provide the registration details.
You can read books in a web browser, download for offline reading, and/or read using a mobile App for Apple or Android devices. Some featured title lists appear on the main page, an Advanced Search is available on the top banner, and you can browse by subject from the Navigation menu (top left). Help is available from the Navigation menu.
