Frontline Justice is a program dedicated to low-income Americans get legal help to resolve civil justice challenges and overcome social and economic inequalities. Although there are a multitude of lawyers, Frontline Justice utilizes justice workers to resolve civil justice issues. Justice workers belong to a network of partners to connect people to appropriate resources, such as food access, debt collection, domestic violence, translation services, and court assistance.
Free, online public access to the master database of official state laws, published by the New Mexico Compilation Commission, is now available to the citizens of New Mexico. NMOneSource.com is the official legal research tool of the New Mexico courts and legislature. Search and retrieve annotated statutes and court rules, appellate court opinions, court forms, and more.
The State Bar of New Mexico is a professional membership organization of attorneys licensed to practice law in New Mexico. The organization was established in 1886 and is currently a 501(c)(6) corporation. The mission of the State Bar is to be a united and inclusive organization serving the legal profession and the public.

The New Mexico Judiciary’s Rural Justice Initiative Clerkship Program is a 2-year program designed for law school graduates to gain valuable experience working in rural communities under the guidance of state judicial district Chief Judges.
The Rural Clerkship Program fosters deep community connections for new lawyers and encourages practicing law in areas of New Mexico that have few attorneys to meet the legal needs of local residents.
Apply for clerkship positions in Farmington, Aztec or Gallup, Clovis, and Portales beginning January 18, 2024. Applications will be taken through March 1, 2024.
