Our mission is to provide the highest quality care, service, and advocacy for the men and women—and their eligible family members—who have served as members of the United States Armed Forces, and to be the premier agency that anticipates and meets the changing needs of New Mexico’s veterans and their families.
State Veteran's Benefits -- find information about tax expemtions, scholarship programs, veteran license plates, reduced rates for recreational activities
Healthcare Division-- The Healthcare Division is dedicated to assisting and advocating on the behalf of our veterans and their families with their healthcare related needs.
New Mexico VA Healthcare System -- The NMVAHCS is a leader in the provision of rural health care, opening its first VA-staffed community based outpatient clinic (CBOC) in Farmington, New Mexico, followed by clinics in Artesia, Gallup, Raton, Silver City, Rio Rancho and Santa Fe. In recent years, the NMVAHCS has contracted with Valor Healthcare, Primary Care Solutions and Ben Archer Health Center to provide Veterans access to clinics throughout New Mexico and southwest Colorado.

VA Office of General Counsel -- Find a list of legal service clinics in NM. You may also contact your local VJO Specialist who may know of community resources for legal assistance.
Veteran's Justice Outreach Program -- The mission of the Veterans Justice Programs is to identify justice-involved Veterans and contact them through outreach, in order to facilitate access to VA services at the earliest possible point. Veterans Justice Programs accomplish this by building and maintaining partnerships between VA and key elements of the criminal justice system
